Frame and Waste System
The frame is constructed of heavy-wall 4"x4" and 4"x8" tube steel. The bottom is completely panned so all sawdust and trims fall into the 2" wide waste belt. An Incline Waste Conveyer can be added to either end.
Blades
The KC-16 uses high quality 16" blades and will cut through up to 4" of wood. The blades are completely covered with a large protective box that almost eliminates flying debris.
Head Adjustment
A single ratchet is all it takes to quickly adjust the heads. Each head moves independently on large 1-1/2" all-thread. This makes them easy to move and lock into place.
The #80 chain used for the feed system is totally enclosed on the bottom for a cleaner, safer operation. To keep the chains in perfect time, the chains are driven by a square shaft.

To allow the machine to be fed at a comfortable height while ejecting the material high enough to land on your existing conveyors.
Tailing Conveyor
The KC-16 comes with or without a 1' wide tailing conveyor which can go either direction.
Options
The KC-16 is available in 2 to 5 head models. Because of their versatility, 3 head and 5 head models are most popular.
